Out with Joel and Steven - Bronte

Went out last night 6-9. Trolled between 80 and 180 for the first 1.5 hours. Hooked into a good one at 120 FOW, 35' down on a black/purple dreamweaver spoon. Just as I gave the rod to Joel - line broke. Frustrating as that would be our only chance to get Joel and Steven into a Salmon.

Spend the last part of the evening trolling J's and lyman's out in front of the mouth - only thing I hooked was diver and Lyman off the bottom (made up for the tackle I lost earlier when the line broke).

I was the only boat on the water.

I'm done Salmon fishing for this year. Hope to do a couple of Lake Erie perch trips and a BOQ walleye trip yet this year.
