Jordan this morning

Short outing today. Went to Jordan for my first time ever. Was on the water at 6 and off by about 9:30. They were fighting awesome today, a couple times they jumped 6-10' in the air! Went 2/3. All fish came before 8am. Only took a picture of the bigger one. It was 3' long and 19 lbs on my scale.

I'm sitting here watching President Bush's primetime TV delivery.
I ask my 7 year son, "Do you know who that is"?
Yes, of course, "President Bush", he says.
"Is he the president of Canada"? I ask.
"Noooo, United States", he confidently retorts.
"Does Canada have a president"? he asks me.
"No, Canada has a Prime Minister", I tell him.

He pauses, thinking hard... "Is it John Kerry"?

Decent Morning

It was a little choppy out there but my brother in law and I were able to put in a few hours. Got 2 Chinooks for our effort.

Google Maps Website

You gotta check out the Google Maps site! Click on satellite pictures in the top right corner. I was able to zoom right on to my house! Even the maps are the best I've seen.

Back in town but not impressed

I've been in Arizona all week on business. Sunny and 80deg everyday and I come back to rain that is gonna last all the way till tuesday...

No fishing this weekend.

Skunked

Hate it when that happens. Spent 5 hours trolling around Port D/Jordan area with my son and my brother. Only saw one fish caught.

Oh well, it was a nice day to be on the water.

Bulldogs

Our neighbour stopped by yesterday afternoon and offered us 2 tickets to the Bulldogs game last night. My son and I went. Awesome seats and a great game. Dogs won 4-3 to clinch a playoff spot.

Only one disappointment - no fights.

Practice

I realize nobody's reading this blog. However, I'm practicing my HTML. It's kinda fun. Hopefully I'll be real good at it for when people actually read this blog...if that ever happens.

It's a little early for the Salmon but we did get a decent lake trout.
